The discrepancy is that the year encompasses 52 weeks thus, we aim to provide services, activities, and support throughout the year…after all, suffering doesn’t stop after an event, a child returns from camp, or a family returns from a weekend away. Second, a gap lies in the notion that other service providers fill a one week or a single event timeline. There are no services similar to us in central New York. The Charity Motor Club is once again happy to support Joseph’s Experience. If you have an interest in offering one of your vacant seats at events, we simply ask that you submit your information via this form. As a Ride Host Volunteer, we will simply ask how many available seats you have and match you with a guest looking to enjoy the tour and learn about your car! This is an opportunity for you as a volunteer to spread the passion for automobiles while creating a memorable experience for others. The Ride Host Volunteer Program works like this: For those attendees that do not have a special ride to bring, or simply do not wish to drive, we want to pair them up with you to be hosted for the ride. In addition to the new name and expanded territory, we are excited to announce a new program which will surely provide an even greater experience for those attending our Ride & Drive events. Read on and I’m sure you will be just as excited as the rest of us for the club’s next chapter. We have an amazing year planned for you and what better way to roll out the new name but with a calendar of new events and exciting experiences. You will see the new name on the website, Facebook page and all communications going forward. We are excited to take this step forward. So much so, that we are adopting that as our new tagline. More importantly, we are a charity that is “driven to give”. We love cars, but we also love motorcycles and all forms of motorsports.
We are not just a car club, or a lunch club, or a charitable organization. As any organization does when it grows, we are changing our name to better reflect who we are and what we do. We will never forget the genesis of our club - a group of auto enthusiasts throwing money in a hat over lunch. We also are excited about growing our footprint in New York and helping more organizations in Central New York and beyond. The name of the Mohawk Valley Lunch Club is changing to better reflect what we do and to showcase our roots in motorsports. A Message From the Charity Motor Club President
